Headlight Restoration at Cal Poly

How it works for students

1. Text a photo of both headlights to (501) 701-9490, plus your car's year, make, and model and where it's parked.
2. Pick a time that works around your classes. I can usually fit you in within a day or two.
3. I restore both headlights at your car in about 60 minutes. All I need is the car parked somewhere accessible.
4. Pay after the job with Venmo, cash, or card.

Why it matters on an older car

A lot of student cars are a few owners in, and cloudy headlights are one of the first things to go. Hazy lenses scatter light and make night driving harder. New headlight assemblies often cost $300 to $800 or more per side, so restoration is the budget-friendly way to see clearly again. See the full cost breakdown.

Roommates and teammates

When two or more cars are done at the same spot on the same day, each additional car is $10 off. One discount per car.

After the restoration

Keep the headlights completely dry for 24 hours while the UV coat cures. Rain, a car wash, or sprinklers during that window voids the warranty, so park away from sprinklers overnight.
