Before You Book
How long do the results last?
Properly done restoration lasts 3 to 5 years. Because I remove the old coating completely and apply a fresh UV sealant, you're not just delaying the problem; you're starting over with a clean lens.
Is this the same as a cheap buff kit or quick-polish service?
No. Most quick services sand down the oxidized layer and apply a wax or polish. I remove the entire UV protective coating, resurface the lens, and apply a new UV sealant. The difference shows up 6 to 12 months later, when the polish job has yellowed again and mine still looks clear.
Can you restore really old or badly faded headlights?
Almost always. Heavy oxidation and age don't disqualify a restoration. The exceptions are headlights with physical cracks, deep scratches into the lens surface, or internal damage. I'll assess yours before any work starts and tell you honestly if it's not worth the cost.
Do you offer any kind of guarantee?
Yes. The UV coat comes with a one-year warranty — if it fails during that period, I'll do a full redo at no charge. It doesn't cover collision or other physical damage, chemical damage, an aftermarket coating or repair, or the underlying lens deteriorating on its own.
What should I do after the restoration?
Keep the headlights completely dry for 24 hours while the UV coat cures. A car wash, rain, sprinklers, or any other water exposure during that period voids the warranty.
How long does the job take?
A 90-minute service window per vehicle, at your location. Most customers just go about their day while I work.
